SAPO Trust board member, Sewis van der Horst, was awarded the Toyota New Harvest Winner award during 2019. This accolade emphasizes the high class producer he has become over many years. Futhermore he is expecting to reap great rewards from the improvements he has made on his farm, Loufontein outside Villiersdorp, and the varieties that he has established there. This include the 5 ha of Bigbucks apples planted during 2019, which will start bearing fruit during 2021/2022.
